Rules & Regulations for Students

  • Every student must carry the school diary and identity card daily. Entry to class, lab, library, and school functions will not be permitted without them.
  • Students must wear the complete school uniform on all class days and for all school functions.
  • Students are expected to arrive at school 5 minutes before the scheduled time to participate in the morning assembly.
  • Regular attendance is mandatory. Latecomers will be sent back home without exception.
  • Attendance on the reopening day after all vacations (Summer, Diwali, Winter) is compulsory.
  • Only prescribed school shoes and uniform accessories are permitted. Non-uniform items will be confiscated.
  • Any damage to school property must be compensated. The Principal's decision in such matters will be final.
  • Students must respect and obey captains, monitors, and other students on duty.
  • All leave applications must be submitted in the 'Absentee Record' section of the school diary, duly signed by parents.
  • Strict discipline and good behavior are essential for a student's continuance in the school. Any violation will result in disciplinary action.
  • Any form of indiscipline, including bullying, use of unfair means, or disrespect to staff, will lead to strict consequences.
  • The Principal's decision in all matters pertaining to discipline is final and binding.
  • Students returning after infectious/contagious illness must produce a doctor's fitness certificate.
  • Unexplained absence for three consecutive days will result in the student's name being struck off the rolls.
  • Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited on campus.
Important Note: Gurukul International Public School maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards indiscipline. Persistent violation of rules will lead to strict disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion.
